Plantagenet Wines

Western Australia | Mount Barker

Our Review

Plantagenet was established by founder Tony Smith with the planting of 5 vineyards; Bouverie in 1968, Wyjup in ’71, Crystal Brook in '88, Rocky Horror in ’99, and Rosetta in ’01. These vineyards remain the cornerstones of the substantial production. At the top of the tree are the Icon wines, made only in exceptional vintages; the Wyjup Collection is the top tier produced annually. The Plantagenet range is named after regions ruled by the Plantagenet kings in the 12th–15th centuries. -JAMES HALLIDAY
