Our Review
Mike Kerrigan, former winemaker at Howard Park, acquired Hay Shed Hill in late '06 (with co-ownership by the West Cape Howe syndicate). The estate-grown wines are made under the Vineyard and Block series, the latter made from separate blocks within the vineyard. The Pitchfork wines are made from contract-grown grapes in the region and the KP Wines label is a collaboration between Michael and his daughter Katie Priscilla Kerrigan. The Kerrigan + Berry wines are a collaborative effort by Michael and Gavin Berry of West Cape Howe in the Great Southern. -JAMES HALLIDAY
