Our Review
The D'Aloisio family has been involved in the agricultural heritage of the Yarra Valley since the late 1960s, and in '94 planted the first vines on their 36ha property. The vineyard is planted to shiraz, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, merlot, nebbiolo, tempranillo, nebbiolo and barbera. Most of the grapes are sold to various wineries in the Valley, leaving a small percentage for the Billanook Estate label. -JAMES HALLIDAY
