Phil and Linette Crowhurst purchased Ainsworth Estate in June 2008 from founders Denis Craig and wife Kerri. The first 2ha of chardonnay and shiraz was planted near Healesville in 1994; a second vineyard at Ducks Lane, Seville followed with another 4ha of vines, planted to shiraz. -JAMES HALLIDAY
