Our Review
In '20, Stanton & Killeen celebrated its 145th anniversary. The business is owned and run by 7th-generation vigneron Natasha Killeen and her mother and CEO Wendy Killeen. Fortifieds are a strong focus for the winery with around half of its production dedicated to this style. Their vineyards comprise 14 varieties, including 7 Portuguese cultivars used for both fortified and table wine production. A vineyard rejuvenation program has been implemented since '14, focusing on sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. South African winemaker Adriaan Foot joined in Jan '23. -JAMES HALLIDAY
