Glenlofty Estate

Victoria | Pyrenees

Our Review

The vineyard was established by Southcorp after exhaustive soil and climate research to supply grapes for Seppelt and Penfolds wines. In '10, Treasury Wine Estates sold the vineyard to Canadian-based Roger Richmond-Smith and winemaking moved to Blue Pyrenees Estate. Glenlofty Wines subsequently purchased the nearby 30ha Decameron Station, bringing the total vineyard holdings to over 130ha. In ’19, Glenlofty Wines also purchased Blue Pyrenees Estate, making it the largest producer in the Pyrenees. -JAMES HALLIDAY
