Kerri Greens

Victoria | Mornington Peninsula

Our Review

Kerri Greens (named after a local surf break) offers excellent and energising wines. Tom McCarthy (son of local Peninsula producers, Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy) is the lead winemaker at Quealy Wines these days and Lucas Blanck (son of winemaker Frederic, from Domaine Paul Blanck in Alsace) is viticulturist. Organics, sustainability and treading gently are important considerations. It’s also a family business strengthened by their wives, Alyce Blanck and Sarah Saxton, who are very much at the forefront. This young quartet is respectful of a wine region that nurtures them, yet not afraid to shake things up. In mid ’23, Lucas and Alyce took over sole ownership of Kerri Greens. -JANE FAULKNER
