Munari Wines

Victoria | Heathcote

Our Review

Established on one of the original Heathcote farming properties, Ladys Creek Vineyard is situated on the narrow Cambrian soil strip 11km north of the town. Adrian Munari has harnessed traditional winemaking practices to New World innovation to produce complex, fruit-driven wines that marry concentration and elegance. Wines are produced from estate plantings of shiraz and cabernet sauvignon. Plantings of merlot, cabernet franc and malbec have recently been grafted to sangiovese. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Specialities

Growing shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and sangiovese as well as producing garganega, vermentino, grenache rosé, fortified shiraz and late-harvest viognier

Cellar Door

Information

Enjoy Heathcote’s best-kept secret when you visit the cellar door at Munari Wines situated just 7 minutes north of Heathcote. Step inside the historic, beautifully renovated stables and enjoy a seated tasting of the full range of wines. Between tastings, explore the large range of back vintages, learn about the history of the label design and get firsthand accounts of the history of the business and property.
We often host bands on our lawn, encouraging guests to spend the afternoon with us. Pizza, charcuterie boards, beer and wine are available and there are food trucks for special events. We love dogs at Munari Wines; when you visit, you will meet Panther the black labrador as well as Muddy and Pepper the English setters. Bring your dog on a lead, and enjoy our courtyard space.
Bookings are always preferred to help with staffing, particularly mid-week, but we also welcome walk-ins.
