ECK Wines

Victoria | Heathcote

Our Review

ECK (pronounced ee-cee-kay) vineyard is centrally located within the Heathcote region on the banks of Lake Eppalock. It was formerly Armstead Estate, whose founder Peter Armstead planted the first shiraz vines in '03 on an east-facing slope just metres from the lake. Tom and Emily Kinsman purchased the estate in July ’17. They grow and source fruit from a number of well-known vineyards across the Heathcote region. Wines have been produced under the ECK label from the ’19 vintage. -JAMES HALLIDAY
