Clarence House Wines

Tasmania | Southern Tasmania

Our Review

Clarence House was built in 1830 at Clarence Vale, Mount Rumney. The house has been kept in great condition, and in 1998 present owner, David Kilpatrick, began planting vines on a northeast-sloping block opposite the house. While pinot noir and chardonnay account for over 8ha of the plantings, the remainder includes pinot blanc and tempranillo. -JAMES HALLIDAY
