Kahlon Estate Wines

The roots of Kahlon Estate go back to 1990, when founder/owner Mohinder Kahlon began the development of what ultimately became a substantial vineyard. Initially simply a grapegrower, the business first diversified into volume wines sold in bulk, and ultimately (in 2004) to cleanskin bottled wines selling for $33 per 12-bottle case, and varietal wines under the Long Tail brand (Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon) at $50 per case. Exports to the UK, Canada, Italy, Czech Republic, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, China and NZ. -JAMES HALLIDAY
