Our Review
The growth of Chalk Hill has accelerated after passing from parents John and Diana Harvey to grapegrowing sons Jock and Tom. Both are heavily involved in wine industry affairs. Further acquisitions mean the vineyards now span each district of McLaren Vale, planted to shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, grenache, chardonnay and barbera. The Alpha Crucis series is especially praiseworthy. -JAMES HALLIDAY

The most visited cellar door in McLaren Vale with panoramic views from the ocean to the Mt Lofty Ranges. Book a guided tasting experience of our small batch Chalk Hill range, premium Alpha Crucis wines or relax on the lawn with a glass of wine.
Bookings for our tasting flights are recommended for weekends, but are not essential during the week.
