Our Review
David and Mardi Hall purchased the historic Avon Brae Estate in '96. The 120ha property has been planted to cabernet sauvignon (the lion’s share, with 11.5ha), riesling (9.3ha), shiraz (8.3ha) and smaller amounts of grüner veltliner and viognier. Around half of the fruit from the estate is made into wine under the Eden Hall label with the remaining fruit sold to 3rd parties such as Yalumba, Rieslingfreak, Soul Growers and Hentley Farm. -JAMES HALLIDAY
