Mark McGill is an emphatic wine enthusiast. Meet him and no sooner will he be opening bottles of his best wines, from his private collection, such is his generosity. After his whirlwind tour through Europe to some of the finest houses in Burgundy and Bordeaux, the wine bug had truly caught hold with no sign of relenting. In ’21 Mark secured a property on Saleyards Road, which boasts onsite accommodation and a 4.4ha vineyard planted to nero d’Avola (made in a nouveau-style), shiraz and cabernet sauvignon. -HALLIDAY TEAM
