Our Review
In ’16, Ally Gossen and Simon Both met in a Barossa pub. They worked a vintage together at Teusner in ’17 and, after becoming engaged in ’19, decided to make wine to serve and gift to friends and family on their wedding day in ’22. Such was the reception (pun intended) that they’ve kept things going ever since. Named after their dog, Juno, the 4 wines in the range are built around grenache (straight, blended and rosé). The fruit is sourced from select Barossa growers, including Andrew Kalleske and John Lienert. Ally and Simon make minimal-intervention wines with a focus on fresh, juicy and lighter-bodied styles, which is why grenache has so far been a focus. The couple plan to experiment with other varieties in the future. -ANNA WEBSTER
