David Franz

South Australia | Barossa Valley | Peramangk, Ngadjuri and Kaurna

Our Review

David Franz (Lehmann) is one of Margaret and Peter Lehmann’s sons. He took a very circuitous path around the world before establishing his eponymous winery. His wife Nicki accompanied him on his odyssey and, together with their 3 children, 2 dogs, a mess of chickens and a surly shed cat, all live happily together in their house and winery. The utterly unique labels stem from (incomplete) university studies in graphic design. Exports to the UK, the US, Japan and Hong Kong. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Cellar Door

Information

No bookings.
Please feel free to roll on up whenever suits. We are a small, boutique space and unfortunately cannot accommodate groups larger than 8 people. The david Franz Cellar Door has generous outside seating with excellent heating for the colder months; however, we recommend dressing warmly to ensure 'player comfort' is at maximum on the day.
