Petaluma

South Australia | Adelaide Hills | The Adelaide Hills are traditional lands and waters of the Peramangk and Kaurna peoples.

Our Review

The Petaluma range has been expanded beyond the core group of Croser sparkling (made by winemaker Ella Hoban), Clare Valley Riesling, Piccadilly Valley Chardonnay and Coonawarra Merlot. Newer arrivals of note include Adelaide Hills Viognier and Shiraz. The plantings in the Clare Valley, Coonawarra and Adelaide Hills provide a more than sufficient source of estate-grown grapes for the wines. In ’17, Petaluma (along with all wine brands owned by Lion Nathan) was acquired by Accolade. -JAMES HALLIDAY
