Mason Wines

Robert and Kim Mason set strict criteria when searching for land suited to viticulture: a long history of commercial stone fruit production with well-drained, deep soil. The first property was purchased in 1997, the vines planted thereafter. A second property was purchased in 2000, and a cellar door was constructed. They have planted cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, shiraz, merlot, viognier, semillon, verdelho, sauvignon blanc and petit verdot. Exports to Japan. -JAMES HALLIDAY
