Coppabella of Tumbarumba

Coppabella is owned by Jason and Alecia Brown, owners of the highly successful Moppity Vineyards in Hilltops. They became aware of the quality of Tumbarumba chardonnay and pinot noir, in particular the quality of the grapes from the 71ha Coppabella vineyard, when purchasing grapes for Moppity Vineyards. In Oct ’11, the Browns purchased the vineyard and have since invested heavily in it, rehabilitating the vines and grafting a number of blocks to the earlier ripening dijon clones of pinot noir and chardonnay.
