Jessop Wines

After a decade or so spent making wine in the Mosel, South Australia and across NZ, Kiwi-born-and-bred winemaker Chris Jessop settled in Orange and established Jessop Wines with his brother, Matthew, in ’21. They produce small-batch, cool-climate wines from single sites around the high-altitude region. Riesling, pinot noir and chardonnay make up the core range and are produced every year (Mother Nature willing), supported by a handful made from less common varieties such as petit verdot, sagrantino and marsanne. -ANNA WEBSTER
