Tatler Wines

New South Wales | Hunter Valley

Our Review

Tatler Wines is a family-owned company headed by Sydney hoteliers, brothers Theo and Spiro Isak (Isakidis). The name comes from the Tatler Hotel on George Street, Sydney, which was purchased by father James (Dimitri) Isak in 1974 and operated by the family until its closure in '86. In '98 the Tatler name was reborn with the purchase of a 40ha property in Lovedale. The vineyard is planted to 7ha of chardonnay and 4ha each of semillon and shiraz, and the wines are made onsite in the recently renovated winery. Exports to the US. -JAMES HALLIDAY
