Our Review
Winemaking couple Shaun and Liz Silkman (one-time dux of the Len Evans Tutorial) were both born and raised in the Hunter Valley. They both worked many vintages (both in Australia and abroad) before joining forces at First Creek Wines. This gives them the opportunity to make small quantities of the 3 classic varieties of the Hunter Valley: semillon, chardonnay and shiraz. Unsurprisingly, the wines have been of outstanding quality. -JAMES HALLIDAY
