These 14 wines have recently been reviewed by the Halliday Tasting Team. All rated between 91 and 96 points, they represent a snapshot of the top tier wines published in September.

There’s nothing more exciting than discovering new wines, but knowing where to look for them, and then, which bottle to choose, can be overwhelming. Below, you’ll find a list of 14 newly released wines that we’ve curated for your drinking pleasure.

Try, for example, the 96-point sauvignon blanc from Greywacke in Marlborough or opt for the 95-point riesling from Clarnette Wines in the Grampians, which Jeni Port says has "effortless beauty." Also 95 points, the Jamsheed Syrah from Beechworth is "spot on medium-bodied with good depth of fruit and gently rugged and very well-balanced tannins providing structure," says Philip Rich.

If you love sparkling wines, you can't go wrong with any of the three from Mt. Coghill Vineyard in Ballarat. Or venture into "dry, textural and delicious drinking" territory with the Malbec Rosé from Obsessionist.

Discover your new favourite producer, regionvariety or style now by sampling these newly reviewed wines.
